Can You Train Yourself to Need Less Sleep

Many people wish they could sleep less and still feel energized. Busy schedules, demanding careers, family responsibilities, and personal goals often create pressure to squeeze more hours out of the day.

This leads to a common question: Can you train yourself to need less sleep?

The short answer is that most people cannot permanently reduce their biological need for sleep. While you may be able to improve sleep efficiency, adjust your schedule, or feel temporarily more accustomed to sleeping less, your body still requires a certain amount of sleep to function properly.
